Some singles enjoy singlehood for a few reasons.

The first obvious one is freedom. It does not necessary mean that singles cannot stay committed and that they want to play the field.
Simple freedom allows you to engage in a wide range of activities without having to account for someone else, such as going for a quiet holiday or clubbing till daybreak.

Second, it is no secret that romantic relationships are almost always accompanied by pain. I dont only mean negative aspects of romantic love such as jealousy, suspicion or possessiveness. Romantic love is painful.
When you miss someone, you pine for him. When she is distraught or sad, you will also feel the pain. When he dies, you are devastated. Some people just prefer to opt out of such pain.

Third, the process of finding Mr or Ms Right can be unpleasant and frustrating, like trying to find a needle in a haystack. Frankly, some of us just prefer not to spend our days searching for needles in haystacks.
After I stop searching and decided I was happier by not being in a relationship. I felt liberated. Finally, I could do something else.

Fourth, it's a myth that singles are devoid of love or always lonely. Alot of singles (be they young or old) are involved in an impressive range of activities like church work or volunteering.
These activities may or may not be social in nature, but it's just wrong to think as many have, that being single means being lonely. After all, romantic love is just one kind of love.

I was reading this to take a break from studying. After reading this, I decide that I will fill my void with food till someone special comes along to fill the void!!!!
