「 invaded it on 5:32 PM 」
It was 5am in the morning after work. It was drizzling and I put on my SIM Sports Jacket. My bike was low on fuel and I sat on the bike wondering where to feed my bike. Pasir Panjang! I thought, since there are countless petrol kiosk from West Coast to HarbourFront, there should be at least one in the opposite direction. ( Usually I top up my tank when the trip meter reads between 120 to 140s, this time its at 140 exactly.)

Left Tanjong Pagar Road in a slight drizzle, riding past Harbourfront and Telok Blangah when the rain got heavier such that my vision was abit blurred. The green light came on and I scooted off. To my surprise, all the other vehicles stayed put and a truck was turning right to my path. I realise that the green light was meant for the other direction! Still I carried on like nothing happen.... riding in the rain, cold and terrible... but no petrol kiosk! All the way to West Coast Fong Seng there! They were on the other side of the road! The trip meter read 150km already, the engine is going to die on me anytime. Then I decided to ride to my old place at Clementi Ave 2's Esso. Scooting along at low speed to conserve petrol and also due to poor vision. 151, 152, 153, 154km... finally I saw the petrol kiosk! The moment I turned in, the engine died! Lucky me!
